Anonymous asked : Can you post a few things that would be great to give to a boyfriend for their birthday? :D

Of course, here are a couple suggestions! :)

Paracord bracelet a lot of army guys wear these.

Paracord Lanyard if your guy isn’t into wearing things around his wrist.

This would be cute tucked into a card.

This is a cute little diy key chain.

There are a couple of ideas. If you need anymore feel free to ask and I will see if I can find some other ideas. Good luck. Submit something if you make something, I LOVE to see others crafts/diys.

What you need to make a toothbrush bracelet:♥Toothbrush ♥Pliers♥Pot and stoveThe first thing you need to do is put the toothbrush in boiling water. I recommend the cheapest toothbrush you can find, whether that’s at the Dollar Store or wherever— just as long as it is the simple kind. I tried this with a Snoopy toothbrush for kids and it did not work. You need the clear plastic kind. After you have let the toothbrush boil for about a minute, (or until it gets soft) you can easily pull out the bristles with your pliers. After you’ve pulled out all the bristles and those weird little metal pieces, stick the toothbrush back into the boiling pot until it becomes as floppy as Harry Potter’s boneless arm after Professor Lockhart accidentally “healed” him. (Yeah. I went there. But it really reminds me of that scene in the book! Try it. You’ll see. ;)) Bend the toothbrush until it fits your wrist. You might have to put it back into the boiling water to adjust sections, but if you have the right kind of toothbrush it should work well. Don’t burn yourself!(Source.)

My friends & I used to make these all the time when we were kids.

For this project you will need:
Golf Pencils
Wood Glue
Tiny Wood Button Caps
Paint and Paint Brush
Cup filled with sand, rice or beans

Take your tiny pencil and glue the button cap to the top.

Then place your pencil tip side down into the cup of sand, rice, or beans until the glue dries. I left mine overnight.

After the glue dries, paint your pencils. I painted mine red, pink, and white.

You might want to use more than one coat of paint— the yellow pencil paint created a funny tint on my red pencils. After the paint is dry— you can paint hearts, x’s and o’s, spell L,O,V,E, or whatever tickles your fancy on the button caps.

Let your hearts dry and then you can tuck a few into your Valentines!(Source.)

A few tips: You’ll want to be sure that the jars have been thoroughly cleaned prior to using and that you spray them well with cooking spray so the monkey bread easily comes out. Also do NOT overfill the jars or they will overflow.
These take minutes to prepare and are a fun way to get the kids involved in cooking their own special breakfast or dessert treats!
Monkey Bread {baked in 8 ounce mason jars} Makes 4 servingsWhat you’ll need:10 refrigerated biscuits – cut into quarters1/2 cup sugar1/2 cup dark brown sugar1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
What to do: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray mason jars with cooking spray and place them into a deep sided baking tray.
2. Into a bowl, add: sugars, and cinnamon. Whisk together to combine. Place cut biscuits pieces into sugar mixture. Toss to combine and coat well.
3. Evenly distribute coated biscuit pieces between the jars. Adding a little extra of the sugar mixture as you go. Fill only 3/4 of the way up the jar {to allow for bread to rise and not overflow}
4. Bake for approximately 10-15 minutes until monkey bread has risen and is golden and bubbly. Allow jars to cool slightly prior to serving.(Source.)

I’ve recently gotten into Yoga, and I’d love to make one of these Yoga Eye Pillows. It’s filled with flaxseed and lavender, so it smells great and is very relaxing.
